Solution

Alumni Harvey Nash have actively supported Lantmannen Group within its home Swedish market for many years, as well as across other geographies, leading to a strong working relationship with the UK cluster.

Working with the UK Managing Director, Tim Robinson, we have partnered on several leadership team appointments since 2017, including Operations Director, Finance Director, HR Director and Marketing Director, to evolve and develop the functional leadership capabilities of the UK senior team, as well as build the leadership team in situ today.

Results

I have enjoyed for some years now a partnership with the team at Alumni Harvey Nash built on strong relationships which initially came from a willingness of the team to really understand our business, our needs, our plans and our culture. Each search has been successfully concluded with high quality insight provided on the candidates following a thorough market review which has leveraged Alumni Harvey Nash’s extensive network.
— Tim Robinson - Cluster Managing Director at Lantmannen Unibake

Our work has predominantly focussed on Executive Search, in addition to targeted interim support, to attract dynamic talent into the business, whilst also telling the “Lantmannen” story to a UK audience, as many were unfamiliar with the Group, it’s history, value set and scale.

Working closely to create brief’s which animated the roles and the challenges, each search engaged with relevant UK talent pools within consumer goods and associated fields, seeking to identify talent that could both operate within an international environment but also embrace local accountability.

Where appropriate internal talent was actively incorporated into the search process and benchmarked versus external talent to enable comparison prior to appointment. All appointments have landed successfully within the business,  enabling and facilitating continued growth within the organisation, such that the UK is well placed moving into 2021.

A net result of our supporting Lantmannen UK, is the positive Group perspective on UK leadership capabilities within both Operations and Finance, providing potential “pipeline” talent for the future.

Tim Robinson has felt reassured and supported during each process, confident in the expertise provided by Alumni Harvey Nash.
