Beaphar is thus looking for a commercial leader to accelerate the company’s presence in the Nordics and build sustainable growth and profitability over the coming years.


About the role
The mission of the Head of Nordics will be to define, develop, execute, and consolidate the strategic commercial plan. In order to achieve sales targets, he/she will have to manage and expand the sales channels to increase the market share guaranteeing the expected growth and efficiency of the company. The position will ideally be based in Stockholm.

The Head of Nordics will act as a General Manager for the Nordic business, and the responsibilities will include:

  • Build & lead the sales & marketing strategy for the Nordics: create annual plan and deliver on turnover & profitability targets in cooperation with the head office in the Netherlands.

  • Setting a clear channel strategy for the business and drive sustainable growth and profitability over the coming years. This will include developing ways of working & operating model, organisation, channel mix, trade terms and product mix.

  • Manage and motivate the staff in the Nordics and build the team as the business is growing.

  • Provide input from a country perspective in company-wide projects and contribute to international R&D and Marketing strategies.

  • Represent Beaphar in the region, be the first point of contact for government authorities and maintain licenses for doing business. Be an ambassador for the company, its staff and products and build a network in the pet industry with key customers, suppliers, industry leaders and experts.


The position is based in Stockholm, and the Head of Nordics will report to the Group Commercial Director.

Candidate profile
We are looking for a commercially oriented leader, with strong analytical skills and understanding of how the game of brand, price, margin, revenue, and costs should be played to build sustainable growth.

We believe that you have the following qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial positions in consumer products in Sweden and/or Norway (ideally within FMCG and/or OTC).

  • Experience from Sales and Channel Management to both offline and online retail and contract negotiations with distributors and retailers.

  • Proven success in defining and implementing a commercial strategy incl price and margin.

  • Fluent in Swedish and/or Norwegian, and English.

  • Leadership experience in managing direct reports, building teams, and scaling business is highly meriting.

  • It is also meriting if you have knowledge of the OTC market and/or knowledge of pharma-related regulations.

  • Academic degree or equivalent experience.
