Job description 
As Director People & Culture Integrated Supply Chain you will have global responsibility for the People & Culture Integrated Supply Chain organization which includes P&C responsibility of Perstorp’s sites, located in the US, Europe and Asia. You will lead an international management team and have 7 direct reports. The role will also be part of the Integrated Supply Chain global management team. The position is located at Perstorp’s HQ in Malmö, or at one of the sites in Germany, the Netherlands or Sweden.  

Main tasks and responsibilities:  

  • Lead the Global P&C Integrated Supply Chain Organization  

  • Develop the P&C strategy and drive implementation in line with overall strategic direction, business needs and personal needs 

  • Lead culture and strategy change transformation within the Organization 

  • Build relationships with managers within the Function organization to develop and implement P&C action plans that are appropriate for their business needs, and consistent with the organization's overall People & Culture strategy 

  • Lead and direct People & Culture related activities and initiatives to ensure that the organization's current and future People & Culture requirements are met and that employees are recruited, managed, organized, trained, evaluated and rewarded in accordance with the strategy 

  • Oversee evaluation of the organization's future workforce needs in collaboration with the business to recommend changes to the organization's human resource initiatives 

  • Work as a bridge between the Function and P&C staff to secure the organizations knowledge level in Change Management and Leadership 

  • Act as an ambassador for the global P&C function and ensure that P&C initiatives are implemented consistently across the business 

  • Participate in the P&C Management Team and contribute to developing strategies and activities to support, coach and challenge the Group organization   

  • Participate in global integration and growth of Petronas/Perstorp new Specialty chemical division, growing both through organic as well as M&A initiatives


Who are you?
 
Perstorp is looking for a high-performing international P&C Executive, who thrives in a dynamic, global organization. The right candidate has a broad HR toolkit and an extensive HR background, preferably from an international manufacturing matrix organization.  

To fit in the position, it is essential to have great leadership skills, strong strategic capabilities, and a thorough business understanding. You are able to drive change, are a good communicator with great stakeholder management skills, build trust and create relationships on all levels. To fit in with Perstorp’s culture you are a team player, hands-on and down-to-earth.  

Requirements 

  • At least 10 years experience in an HR role in an international context 

  • Track record of successful leadership and change management skills 

  • Broad HR toolkit, with a preferred spike in talent development/succession planning, change management and transformational leadership 

  • Experience from a manufacturing company 

  • Relevant university degree 

  • Fluent in English 

  • Ability to travel 


Meriting
 

  • Experience from an international matrix organization 

  • Background from the chemical/process industry 

  • Line management and/or management consulting background 

  • Experience from ownership changes/integration processes 

  • Experience/work in Asia or with Asian cultures 

  • Additional language skills
