The Director of Transformation at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a newly created Board post at a c.£700m turnover teaching trust with an exciting future. The role will ensure we deliver our vision to ‘provide every patient with the care we want for those we love the most’ to the over one million people we serve across Norfolk and surrounding areas.
Although we are proud of our recent journey and improvements which has included successfully moving out of special measures, recognising the opportunities and ongoing challenges facing our Trust and wider health and care partners, including our elective care backlog, pandemic recovery, and the development of a hospital group across Norfolk and Waveney, this new role will put fresh strategic thinking, innovative transformation programmes and improvement methodology at the heart of our Trust and wider system.
To take this new executive portfolio forward, we will require a talented leader with a track record of delivering sustainable improvements in partnership with clinical and managerial colleagues and external partners. Whether your experience has been gained inside or outside of the NHS, in a clinical or strategic setting, if this is your first Board role or you are established at this level, you will be an energetic, ambitious and creative leader who is keen to progress their career with us and make a sustainable and lasting difference our 10,000 staff and the population we serve.
