This is a new and key role within the senior management of the Trust to drive forward the innovation and transformation agenda associated with the Trust’s strategy. The post holder will be responsible for the leadership, development and implementation on behalf of the Chief Executive, of the Trust’s transformation and improvement programme (Building for our Future) including building capacity and capabilities, cross organisational and culture change.
We provide most of our acute services from two district general hospitals, Conquest Hospital and Eastbourne DGH. They both have Emergency Departments and we provide care 24 hours a day. They offer a comprehensive range of surgical, medical and maternity services supported by a full range of diagnostic and therapy services. Our community services are provided throughout East Sussex by our community teams, who provide care in the patient’s own home and from a number of clinics and GP surgeries.

At Rye, Winchelsea and District Memorial Hospital we provide outpatient and inpatient intermediate care services. At Firwood House we jointly provide, with Adult Social Care, inpatient intermediate care services. We also provide some services at Uckfield Community Hospital.
