The Children’s Hospital Foundation helps sick and injured kids by funding life-saving medical research, investing in vital new equipment, and providing support and entertainment for children and their families. The Children’s Hospital Foundation is the charity dedicated to raising funds for Queensland’s sickest kids, proudly working alongside the Queensland Children’s Hospital and state-wide with Children’s Health Queensland.
Ever since the Foundation opened in 1986, the generous support of donors and sponsors and the remarkably devoted doctors, nurses, researchers, staff and volunteers, have been able to ‘work wonders’ for the brave children and courageous families that needed the best healthcare available.
The role:
We are seeking a visionary, inspiring and mission driven individual who will lead all aspects of the organisation and our people.
The CEO will lead our exceptional team, shape our strategy and vision and sustain and scale the impact of our work. As a result of your leadership, clear vision and direction you will build a strong culture and drive the effective delivery of strategic and operational plans, establishing a platform for sustained success. In all of their work and relationships, the CEO will act in line with our values.
Reporting to the board, the CEO will directly manage the executive leadership team and responsible for 55 staff overall and the sustainable income generation of $20 million. The CEO will be building on a strong foundation, working with a talented, passionate and innovative team to drive change, accelerate income growth through diversified streams and fund mission critical research, programs and clinical equipment.
